How Gifts of Hope work:

The Gift of Friendship

Help send a youth leader to a 3-day peer-to-peer training conference

Your $50 or more donation increases the number of youth capable of attending HIV/AIDS prevention conferences run by BTCI and its partner, Siyafundisa. Upon completing the course curriculum the sponsored youth returns to their villages, townships and cities with their promise to educate 20 of their peers -- who in turn commit to educate 20 of their own peers. Thus, each youth you sponsor helps spread factually correct HIV/AIDS prevention information to hundreds of youth in a very short time.
 

The Gift of Compassion

Help feed the 14 million+ orphaned and vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa

Your $20 or more donation increases the number of orphaned and vulnerable children BTCI and its partners can house, feed, clothe and educate.
 

The Gift of Hope

Help fund the purchase of medical supplies for orphaned & vulnerable children infected with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS

Your $100 or more donation increases BTCI and its partners ability to provide health care services for the orphaned and vulnerable children infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Many of the more than 14+ million orphaned and vulnerable children living in sub-Saharan Africa were born HIV positive and will require extensive care as they reach their teens. A large percentage will not live to see their 25th birthday without access to quality medical care.
 

The Gift of Community

Help buy food for children and families living in extreme povery in Africa

Your $30 or more donation will feed a child for a month. Food provided by BTCI’s partners consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, dried goods, canned goods and traditional food staples for the region.
 

The Gift of Empowerment

Help fund the purchase of school supplies and uniforms for children in need

Your $50 or more donation will help a child or youth attend school. To attend South African public schools each child must supply their own lunch, uniform, books and supplies at the average cost of $600 per child.  Many of the children we assist are orphaned or otherwise unable to raise the money necessary to  attend classes.

Help fund whichever program BTCI feels is in greatest need of your donation
